One of the most powerful bullet point tactics I ever learned was from a master copywriter (who has controls with many of the biggest mailing houses in the world) named David Deutsch.

And what he said was, when you are writing bullets for books and information products you should structure them in a way where you are very specific about the problem…but purposely vague with the solution.

He actually compared it to baiting a hook.

Where you bait the hook 9/10 of the way, with that small little piece of information (without which renders the secret you are writing about impossible to understand) purposely left off.

For example:

Let’s say you are writing an ad for a book about how to train dogs.

And let’s say you wanted to make a bullet point out of a fact in the book that says you can calm down hyper dogs by playing classical music.

In this case, you can say:

• The one kind of music that’ll calm your dog down and help him go to sleep at night…no matter how strung-out, hyper or scared he is.

See what I mean?

You are giving away the fact that music can be used to calm a dog down. But not the exact kind of music. In order to learn that, they have to buy the book.

Anyway, try doing this with your bullet points next time you write an ad. See if you can’t give 90% of the secret away while leaving off that vital 10% someone would need in order to have the full secret. I’m sure you will find it just as useful and profitable a secret as I have.

If your home is anything like mine, you’re constantly picking crayons up off the floor. My son colors everyday, sometimes for hours on end. He loves crayons. We’re always buying more crayons because he either looses them or they’ve been worn down to nubbins and hard to color with. Well, here’s a tip for you on what you can do with the worn out crayons rather than throwing them away. You can recycle the old crayons by making them into candles. You can show your kids how they can take something old and make it into something new and colorful that’s useful too. You’ll want to burn these darling homemade candles yourself and give them as gifts as well.

Use this craft technique as a teaching moment with your kids. Before you start making the candles, talk to your kids Kontaktanzeigen Berlin safety. They’ll need to know that the crayons will have to be melted using a very high heat, and they will not be able to do that particular step in the process. Tell them they will have other fun steps in making crayon candles.

Get your supplies together. Along with about six crayons, you’ll need a wax container of some sort such as an empty milk or orange juice wax carton, one pound of paraffin wax, two full ice cube trays, a double boiler, white packing string. If you’re hesitant to use your double boiler to melt the crayons and wax, an old coffee can and saucepan works great.

First, trim the top off of the wax carton, leaving it approximately six inches high. Next, cut the string at least 8 inches long and later cut the wick to fit the holder. Braid the three string pieces together to make a wick that burns easier. Melt the paraffin wax in the double boiler or coffee can. To help it melt faster, cut it into small chunks. Usually you’ll need to allow about 20 minutes for the melting process to complete.

Get your kids involved with the crayon candle making fun by letting them remove the crayon wrappers from the crayons while the wax is melting. Be creative by mixing and matching the crayon colors to create your own pretty candle.

Most folks find that they get the best results if they wait and Singles Bremen the crayons to the wax after it’s totally melted. Use a pair of scissors and dip the string into the paraffin. Dipping the string will make sure it’s coated with paraffin because the ice cubes may make it hard for the wax to stick to the string. You can even add a touch of scent to your crayon candle by adding a little cinnamon or vanilla to the hot wax.

Once you have poured your candle, make sure your kids know the importance of leaving it alone to harden. The candle will usually set in about half an hour, but leave it alone for a couple of hours and until the ice is melted. Put the candle in an area that is safe and where it will not be bothered. Be sure the little ones know they could be burned if they touch the hot wax before it’s cooled. The wax can stay hot for hours after pouring and can be a potential hazard to kids and animals. When you’re ready, all you have to do then is pour off the melted water and then peel off the wax carton.

The Target -

A target can be made of a burlap sack, or oil cloth, about five feet square. Stuff this with hay or straw.

It may be flattened by a few quilting stitches put right through with a long packing needle. On this the target is painted.

In scoring, the centre is 9, the next circle 7, the next 5, the next 3 and the last circle 1. The shortest match range for the
target is forty yards.

Making Arrows -

Arrows are divided into three parts: the head, sometimes called the pile, the shaft and the feathers.

For target, practice a wire nail driven into the end of the pile with the head of the nail filed off and pointed, makes an excellent head.

The shaft is generally made of hickory, ash, elm or pine, and its length is dependent upon that of the bow. For a five-foot bow, make the length two feet and the width and thickness about one-half inch.

Feathering is the next operation. Turkey and goose feathers are generally used.

Strip off the broader side of the vane of three feathers and glue them to the shaft one inch and a quarter from the notch, spacing them equally from each other.

Archery -

The archery rules for the five essential points are these:

1. Standing:

Ya know, in the years that I’ve been guiding and coaching chiropractors, I’ve discovered something funny about what separates the successful doctors from the struggling, frustrated doctors.

Not funny ha-ha, but funny in that it’s not what you would think.

It’s ATTITUDE.

But, I’m not talking attitude in the sense of always being an upbeat, happy-go-lucky person who’s always smiling and chipper.

That’s not what I mean.

When I say that attitude is what will ultimately determine whether you’re a successful chiropractor or not, what I’m talking about is how you respond to new chiropractic marketing ideas.

In a nutshell:

A chiropractor that comes across a new and different chiropractic marketing technique or idea, and immediately goes into brainstorming mode to figure out how he or she can implement and test Livesex out, that chiropractor has the right attitude for success.

A chiropractor that comes across a new chiropractic marketing idea or technique and immediately comes up with all the reasons and excuses why it won’t work for them, that doctor has the absolute wrong attitude, and is destined for a long and painful journey in the chiropractic profession.

One doctor has an open mind.

One; closed.

So, wondering what the heck all this talk about attitude has to do with those two words I mentioned earlier?

They have *everything* to do with attitude.

You see… the doctors who have the wrong attitude always respond to a new idea or technique by first saying, “Yeah, but…”.

They learn about a new chiropractic marketing approach and immediately start with…

“Yeah, but… I just started doing chiropractic.”

Or

“Yeah, but… I live in a really small town.”

Or

“Yeah, but… I don’t have any money to spend on chiropractic marketing.”

Or

“Yeah, but… I don’t really like the chiropractic marketing part of being a chiropractor.”

Or… well… you get the point.

The “Yeah, but…” is always followed with some reason (or excuse) for why the new chiropractic marketing idea or technique won’t work for them.

The “Yeah, but…” is just another way of saying, “I can’t do that because…”

And here’s the reason why using those two words is such a detrimental thing to your success as a chiropractor:

The moment you say “Yeah, but…”, or anything like it, is the moment you’ve relinquished control of your practice (and your life) over to your circumstance, environment, etc.

And… to put it bluntly…. the moment you begin making excuses for why you can’t do or achieve something with your chiropractic practice, you immediately begin going down the path to failure.

It’s important that you always maintain an open mind.

Be willing to give new chiropractic marketing methods a chance.

Be willing to admit there may be a better way of doing things with your chiropractic marketing than the way you’re doing them right now.

And most important…

When faced with a new chiropractic marketing idea, technique, or method, always ask yourself HOW you can use it.

Not IF you can use it.

Apply this type of attitude to all the new chiropractic marketing ideas you come across in the next 90 days and you’ll be shocked at how much progress and improvement you’ll make to your practice.
